The Greener Difference

Greener was founded by Hamish Lee, an engineer who is so passionate about sustainability that he attained three renewable energy engineering degrees from three different countries. This same passion and solar knowledge is a part of the entire company and growing team.

We’re driven by a desire to protect our environment and we do that by producing the most effective renewable energy solutions for our clients. The more powerful the renewable solution, the bigger the benefit to the environment.

With a full team of in-house experts, we undertake all the work ourselves  - we never contract out . This means you’re guaranteed to have a Greener solar expert with you at every step, ensuring everything aligns with your specific energy needs, saving you money and protecting our environment.

Design

All our customers are different, that’s why we offer a customised solution specific to your situation. Our expert knowledge and global experience mean we lead the way in solar design.

Every project starts with a free site visit to discuss your requirements. We then deliver a detailed design and quote for your solar system.

During the site visit we also conduct a sustainability analysis so we can suggest additional beneficial measures such as heating and cooling options, appliance timers and insulation.

Installation

Every installation is carried out by our experienced team, ensuring quality and accountability.

Because we design and install your system, we know it inside and out and can quickly diagnose and fix issues. We can also expand your system if your needs change.

Each installation is set up with a energy monitoring system. During the installation we teach our clients how to use this to monitor their energy production and consumption.

Solar and energy technology is rapidly evolving as part of climate change mitigation. With our genuine passion for solar, we follow all the latest advancements and can suggest improvements as new technology comes to market.

Quality Hardware

All our systems are designed to last. We use only top quality hardware made by the best manufacturers in the world. Solar panels have a 25 year warranty and inverters have a 10 year warranty, but both are designed to last double that time span.

    SEANZ Members who install solar, battery and energy management system technology work to a strict SEANZ Code of Conduct.

    This ensures their business process and practices are actioned with integrity. SEANZ Members design, supply and install products and systems that comply with  New Zealand and International Standards.

    This programme sets the benchmark for professionalism and workmanship for the electrical contracting industry.
